Last night lightning struck. Not that I had some great idea. No, I mean litteraly lightning struck.
A little storm passed by yesterday. I didn't really see the lightning but I did see my computer screen go out for a second, well it didn't look good. After that, this loud thunder hit right above our head (studenthome). For a brief moment my room shook along.
I started checking my computer for errors. Nothing noticable untill I started internet. For some reason the connection was dead. It still is. The landlord will probably have to reset the modem. If he hadn't locked it away from us, I would take a look myself.
And apparently it's not only our building that is without a connection. A friend of mine a few blocks down has lost his connection as well. And I am guessing there are more. Could it be possible a whole block went down? I hope not because if that is the case it wil take forever before internet is restored.
Anyway, due to the incident I am forced to go to the pc classrooms of the university.
