Yesterday - or by the time this post goes live, the day before yesterday - I finally bougth me a Nikon D70 kit. I've been looking forward to this day for a couple of months now, it was just that I didn't have the money yet. So the longer I had to wait the more I wanted to go and get one.
I won't be giving any review, I'll just forward you to dpreview for that. But here are my first impressions: wow! he's fast. No delay when I turn on the camera, just point and shoot. I really fell in love with the speed of this baby. I haven't been able to take RAW images yet (not enough memory) so I'm setteling for the best quality with a lower resolution in JPEG. The quality is still overwhelming though, great details and great colors.
Maybe I'll go a little more in depth in a few months, in the meanwhile I'm just going to enjoy this camera and explore it's features.
